CODE BATTLE

Welcome to Code Battle, an exciting offline coding competition designed to push your problem-solving and coding skills! This event challenges students to identify and fix bugs, navigate algorithms, and demonstrate their expertise in coding.

RULES & REGULATIONS

Event Format:  

  • Questions will cover various data structures and algorithms (DSA) topics like Stacks, Queues, Searching, Sorting with varying levels of difficulty, including Loops and Conditional Statements, Manipulating arrays and strings (reversing, finding duplicates, insertion, deletion, searching), Basic Recursion, etc.

  • Participants will be judged on speed and accuracy.

 

 Time Limit:  Total Event Time: 3 hours

 

 Rules & Regulations:  ​

  •  Code Evaluation: Time and correctness will be the primary judging factors.

  • Winners will be ranked on the HackerRank leaderboard.

  • Participants are strictly prohibited from using external resources during the competition.

  

Participation Details: 

 

  • Each entry must consist of 2 participants.

  • One school is allowed to have only one entry

  • Open to students from Grades 9 to 12.  

  • The competition will be hosted on HackerRank, a widely used coding competition platform.

  • Participants should be familiar with at least one programming language, such as Python, JavaScript, or C++.  

  • It is recommended that participants have an intermediate understanding of data structures and algorithms (DSA).  

  • All participants are required to create their HackerRank ID before the competition.
